Moving a view from Table into Views category?

A bit bizarre we have a view called uvw_rev_rec_rpt_detail that is showing under tables in Enterprise Manager. It should be under views, I am over thinking this but what is the best way to move the view over?
Can I do a drop table command via TSQL or simply delete from Enterprise Manager?
Thanks
Strange. Could you run sp_help on that object and post the output here?
EXEC sp_help uvw_rev_rec_rpt_detail
GO

move project to another developer

When another developer open my report project in his machine, he could not
look at the report on design view. The user id on data source is a SQL user
id, not Windows ID. How do I fix the problem?Has the other developer installed the Reporting Service client utilities
from the CD?

Move database

Hello,

What is the easiest way to move a database from one server to another with the all table structures, view and stored procedures?

Thanks,

For just the structure (not the data) you can create a create script for the database (in enterprise Manager, right click any object in the database and Generate SQL Script should be an option).

For everything, including data, you can detatch the database, move the physical database file, and then attach the database file in the new location.

DTS will also allow you to move data and tables.

|||Would Backup?Restore work for this?|||to restore structure and data, yes.
